2 1/2 years of research, multiple blue-ribbon panel studies, hundreds
of millions of dollars spent on correcting the problem, and NASA still
hasn't figured out how to prevent foam from falling off the fuel tanks
during liftoff. So they say they'll ground the fleet indefinitely until
they can come up with a solution.
Bah. Why not just scrap the shuttle fleet, then, and use the money to
"correct" the Shuttle problem instead on the next-generation orbiter...
one which doesn't have the innate weaknesses the Shuttle has?
I feel vaguely disgusted right now...
